From The Pastor
Psalms 22:3 tells us that the Lord inhabits
(dwells within) the praises of His people.
Here at The Gathering Place Atlanta we believe that
the worship of God is the highest calling of every
believer. In the book of Revelation we are told that
each of us were created for God’s pleasure.
In Zephaniah 3:17 the Bible tells us that God gets excited and rejoices over us,
even singing and dancing over us with abundant joy. What a wonderful picture
of our Heavenly Father!
Many in the GLBT and even in the Straight community have been rejected by
mainstream churches and as a result feel spiritually outcast. Jesus always
went out of His way to minister to the outcast and is continuing to reach out to
our community today. He loves all of His children with an everlasting love. We
invite you to come worship with our family.
